Welcome to Citizens Advice Sutton
We are a registered charity that provides information and advice to the residents of the London Borough of Sutton. A printer friendly leaflet about our service is available here.
We work in partnership with Age UK Sutton and Sutton Carers Centre as part of Advice Link Partnership Sutton. The Advice Link Partnership Sutton website and phone number, 0208 254 2616, give you access to a range of local and national services, including our own.
Our telephone service is available as usual. You can telephone us between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, on 020 8405 3552. If you cannot speak or hear on the telephone, please contact us by Text Relay. Some of our volunteers and staff are providing our service from home with a limited number of people in our offices. Our online service is also avaiable as usual. You can contact us online at www.suttonalps.org.uk. Our drop-in centre (underneath the Central Library, in the Civic Complex) is now open Monday to Friday from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.. This document answers some FAQs about the pandemic. Please note that we not currently able to help people with applications to charitable trusts.
EU Settlement Scheme
We have funding from the home office to support EU nationals with applications to the EU Settlement Scheme. If you are an EU National needing help with the application or if you are a service provider needing to refer a vulnerable EU National to our project, please email the project worker - email@example.com or telephone 07389731261. Please note - this email address and phone number is ONLY for enquiries relating to the EUSS scheme. We deliver this project with Refugee Migrant Network Sutton.
We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to provide debt advice (FRN617761). Our team of specialist, expert debt advisers provide the full range of debt advice services, including Debt Relief Orders. Volunteer with us
Our volunteers come from all sorts of backgrounds and help with everything we do.
We are developing our trustee board and are recruiting new board members. We have undertaken a skills audit and would particularly like to hear from people with experience of social work. The role would be an interesting and rewarding role for a person such as a retired social worker or a current social worker practicing outside of Sutton.
The Citizens Advice Sutton board meets four times a year with meetings of sub-committees in between board meetings. The board meetings take place in the evenings. Board members are unpaid but reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
