Welcome to Citizens Advice Sutton
We are a registered charity that provides information and advice to the residents of the London Borough of Sutton. A printer friendly leaflet about our service is available here.
We work in partnership with Age UK Sutton and Sutton Carers Centre as part of Advice Link Partnership Sutton. The Advice Link Partnership Sutton website and phone number, 0208 254 2616, give you access to a range of local and national services, including our own.
Our telephone service is available as usual. You can telephone us between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, on 020 8405 3552. If you cannot speak or hear on the telephone, please contact us by Text Relay. Some of our volunteers and staff are providing our service from home with a limited number of people in our offices. Our online service is also avaiable as usual. You can contact us online at www.suttonalps.org.uk. Our drop-in centre (underneath the Central Library, in the Civic Complex) is now open Monday to Friday from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.. This document answers some FAQs about the pandemic. Please note that we not currently able to help people with applications to charitable trusts.
Volunteering at Citizens Advice Sutton
Volunteers are at the heart of the Citizens Advice Sutton service. We usually have about 60 active volunteers supporting our service in a variety of roles. In 2019/20, our very diverse team of volunteers provided over 18,000 hours of time to supporting Sutton residents. Our volunteers handled thousands of enquiries and provided over one thousand face to face appointments. See our volunteering at Citizens Advice Sutton page for more information.
EU Settlement Scheme
We have funding from the home office to support EU nationals with applications to the EU Settlement Scheme. If you are an EU National needing help with the application or if you are a service provider needing to refer a vulnerable EU National to our project, please email the project worker - firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 07389731261. Please note - this email address and phone number is ONLY for enquiries relating to the EUSS scheme. We deliver this project with Refugee Migrant Network Sutton.
